Background
Bob is a native of Foley, MN, where his family operated a John Deere implement business.  He became interested in accounting while helping keep the records for his father's business.  He graduated from St. John's University in 1968 with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Upon graduation, Bob worked eight years in Buffalo, MN, where he was the tax partner in a local accounting firm. Bob and his wife Judy have three children and seven grandchildren.

Bob started the present CPA practice in November of 1976, with offices in Monticello and Cokato.  In addition to being the firm's Managing Partner, Bob works extensively with tax planning for small business clients including estate and financial planning, elder care planning, and working with estate administration.  Bob also manages the firm's financial planning division, and is a PFS.
 
Bob enjoys working with a client who has a basic understanding of finance, and appreciates a thorough and comprehensive service being provided for them.
 
Other Interests and Activities
Bob is active in wildlife and conservation groups such as Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever and Delta Waterfowl Foundation.
 
Bob is an avid bird hunter and also enjoys training hunting dogs.  Other interests include boating and collecting hunting related antiques.
