Background
David's hometown is Bagley, Minnesota.  He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  His career began with an international CPA firm in Minneapolis.  He then moved on to spend five years with the Rosemount School District as Accounting Supervisor.  The next year and a half, David was with a local CPA firm in Edina.  

 
He makes his home in Monticello.  
 
Mosford, Barthel & Co., PLC.
David joined Mosford, Barthel & Company, PLC. in December of 1981.  He maintains our firms computerized individual tax preparation software and trains the firm members in its operations.  Dave is also active in the tax-exempt, pension, and profit sharing area.
 
Other Interests and Activities
David is active in the Monticello Lions and has managed the charitable gambling operations for the club.
 
He also enjoys hunting and fishing in northern Minnesota and Canada.
