Background
Andy is originally from Wells, MN, which is located between Mankato
& Albert Lea. He first became interested in public accounting while
taking accounting and technology classes in high school. His Dad, who is
also a CPA, encouraged him to explore career opportunities in accounting and
technology.
Andy graduated
from Saint John's University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
accounting. During his four years at Saint John's, he worked as a
computer programmer in the Administrative Computing Department.
Andy and his family live in Big Lake.

Andy first began working at the firm in October of 1999. He works in both the
financial reporting and tax areas, while assisting on all of the firm's
certified audits.
In addition to his duties of performing audits, reviews, compilations
and preparing tax returns, Andy also is responsible for maintaining the firms
computer network and website. Andy appreciates working in an environment
that allows him to use both his accounting and computer skills.
Andy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants (AICPA), MN Society of CPA's, and is the firm's representative at
the Big Lake Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as Treasurer for the Monticello Soccer Club.

In his free time, Andy enjoys fishing, running, and attending sporting events with his family and friends.
