Background Andy is originally from Wells, MN, which is located between Mankato & Albert Lea.  He first became interested in public accounting while taking accounting and technology classes in high school.  His Dad, who is also a CPA, encouraged him to explore career opportunities in accounting and technology.  

 
Andy graduated from Saint John's University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting.  During his four years at Saint John's, he worked as a computer programmer in the Administrative Computing Department.
 
Andy and his wife Barb, who is a special education teacher, live in Big Lake with their daughters Anika and Grace.

Andy rejoined the firm in December of 2003 after previously being a staff member from October 1999 to September 2002.  He works in both the financial reporting and tax areas, while assisting on all of the firm's certified audits.
 
In addition to his duties of performing audits, reviews, compilations and preparing tax returns, Andy also is responsible for maintaining the firms computer network and website.  Andy appreciates working in an environment that allows him to use both his accounting and computer skills.
 
Andy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), MN Society of CPA's, and is the firm's representative at the Big Lake Chamber of Commerce. 
 
Other Interests and Activities
In his free time, Andy enjoys attending hockey games with his wife and daughter and completing various home improvement tasks.
